Job description:
- Prepare basic design of heat, mass balance, PFD, P&ID, process calculation for Water & Wastewater, RO, Demin, Pre-Treatment, Biological, Chemical, Produced Water Treatment, Desalination, Electrochlorination, Zero Liquid Discharge, Ammonia/Sulphate Removal, Condensate Polishing, etc. applications.
- Knowledge of equipment sizing, vessel, tank and selection of material, instrumentation, control philosophy, cause and effect matrix, HAZOP, IPF, SIL study, IOM manual, etc.
- Prepare a bill of material for equipment and material and source for manufacturer, supplier and fabricator to build up the costing sheet with quotation and proposed additional AVL.
- Verification of performance guarantee such as process parameters, electrical power, chemical consumption, replacement, etc.
- Preparing datasheet for RFQ and review offers from sub-vendor for compliance to technical specification, Ex-d, ISA standards, codes and regulation.
- Support Tendering team in preparing proposals inline with tender requirements.
- Ensure all costs are captured accurately in the costing file. Review costings and technical solution with Head of Departments.
- Work with commercial and various cross functional teams like SCM, Project Management, Process, Mechanical applicants for supporting the bids in terms of techno-commercial costings and writeups.
- Identify potential risks in the bids, vendor quotations and estimates, and in any related contract agreements across customers/channels.
- Occasional travel to handle customer clarifications.
- Collects and archives documentations regarding the offer/order and records assumptions and decisions taken during the tendering process.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Chemical/Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
- Familiar with international standards, codes and regulations, offshore and onshore.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Chemical, Power Plant Industries.
- Meticulous with ability to prioritize work tasks to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Have experience working with international teams.
- Willing to travel.
