With a commitment to quality and a focus on delivering tailored solutions, we are looking for a passionate and driven Technical Sales Executive to join our dynamic team!
Responsibilities:
Candidates are expected to:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to promote and sell rigging solutions
- Identify and establish relationships with key and prospective clients
- Provide technical expertise to clients, understanding their unique requirements and offering tailored solutions
- Collaborate closely with the Operations team to understand and communicate technical features and benefits
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the technical advantages of our rigging solutions
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to formulate sales strategies
- Prepare and present technical proposals, quotes, and contracts to potential clients
- Work collaboratively with the Sales team to meet revenue targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business
- Travel to client locations and participate in trade industry events
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
A successful candidate will possess:
- Diploma in Engineering, Marine Technology, or a related field
- Proven track record in technical sales, preferably in the marine industry*
- Technical knowledge of marine rigging products, systems, and solutions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams
- Ability to translate technical features into client benefits and value propositions
- Willingness to learn about the range of marine rigging solutions Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications
- A results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and industry events
