JOB DESCRIPTION
Professional in charge of commissioning the OTSAW Products including but not limited to Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV)
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform commissioning of OTSAW Products from system setup to route mapping and product operations testing.
- Execute upgrade and modification requests for an existing hardware or system via remote or on-site support.
- Train the Product Operators and Service Team in operating a newly setup system, equipping them with product operations and basic troubleshooting skills.
- Prepare and submit the User Acceptance Test, Progress Report, Project Report and other Operations related documents whenever necessary.
- Escalate critical concerns to Lead Project Engineer for prompt resolution, ensuring operational continuity.
- Execute tasks on behalf of the Robotics Operations Team, contributing to streamlined operations.
- Collaborate closely with the Lead Project Engineer to align objectives and achieve team goals.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Engineering or other related fields is preferred.
- Associate’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Engineering or other related fields is required.
- Possessing a relevant certificate or license is preferred.
- Proven work experience as Project Engineer or similar role.
- Strong background in engineering or technology industry.
- Familiarity with Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) is advantageous.
- Proficiency in mechanical/electrical hardware installation, setup and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in system/network installation, setup and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ElcoCAD and any other design and planning software.
- Familiarity of LINUX (Ubuntu) System and software troubleshooting will be an added advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical / electrical prints and other related technical documentation.
- Strong working knowledge of equipment, tools and components used in the industry.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally on short notice.
- Ability to work independently and remain professional under pressure.
- Possession of a valid driving license is preferred.
