The company is offering various products, including print publications, online databases, and mobile applications that serve as valuable references for healthcare practitioners, doctors, nurses, and pharmacists. These resources help professionals stay informed about the latest developments in the pharmaceutical industry and make informed decisions related to drug prescribing and administration.
The Responsibilities:
In your role as the Project Manager overseeing the development of the web application, your primary duty is to lead the team, ensuring the project is completed within the specified timeframe, adhering to the defined scope, and upholding high-quality standards. Additionally, you will handle initial project planning tasks, including requirement gathering, scope definition, effort estimation, timeline planning, and the work breakdown structure.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Interpret business requirements and transform them into both service and technical specifications
- To be in charge of maintenance support responsibilities, including handling project such as for application upgrades, bug fixes, feature enhancements, system/application deployment, and user support
- Contribute to the regional team's efforts in advancing the healthcare web platform and its associated systems and applications (deployed across various models and utilized in multiple countries)
- Collaborate with the technical leads to manage tasks and provide technical mentorship to your team members, ensuring the successful implementation of required functionalities and overall process improvement
- Assist the team leader or the immediate supervisor in defining core technical solutions. You are also to offer recommendations for the selection and implementation of software frameworks or architectures
- Address internal business team inquiries, including those from sales support and customer service, regarding the products capabilities
- Work closely with other teams such as sales support, quality assurance, customer service, and business analysts to support the development process
The Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from a distinguished University, in either Information Technology or Computer Science
- As a Project Manager, you are to work within project deadlines. There will be pressure to complete the projects as per schedule, within budget, and with the right deliverable quality
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating effective task prioritization. You are to exhibit problem-solving skills and the ability to make well-founded decisions
- You are to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including delivery, marketing, developers, designers, and testers
- Experience in an online service provider and have successfully completed a minimum of 2 full project life cycles or worked on medium to large web-based public-facing applications
- Knowledgeable and experienced in website and mobile app development, with expertise in evaluating, implementing, testing, and analyzing UI/UX designs, enhancements, and strategies
- Hands-on experience as a web application project manager, you are to come as a web application software engineer at your previous role
- Demonstrated success in delivering effective digital products through diverse delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
- Stay informed about the latest developments in online service development technology
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- A team player with good analytical skills, a mature character, and a positive attitude
- Familiar in writing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation
A major plus should you are coming with:
- PMP certification
- DevOps and CI/CD
- Google Analytics 360, Google Search Console (GSC), Google Tag Manager (GTM)
- React Native (mobile development)
- Cloud base data warehouse knowledge
- Proficient in the majority of the following (not necessarily all):
- .NET, ASP.NET, and C#
- Cloud Computing platforms and their resources (Azure and AWS)
- Full stack development
- MS SQL Server, CosmoDB, Azure SQL
- HTML, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery, Blazor
- Restful API, Web API
- Jira, Confluence
