Assitant Vice-President Operations

We are looking to hire a multi-faceted and versatile Investment Operations Analyst / Manager to join our growing team. As a successful hire, the candidate will oversee the entire client journey, from initial onboarding to ongoing oversight of the client investments and investment vehicles / funds. The candidate’s daily responsibilities will cover two main functions: Investment Operations & regulatory oversight of the fund vehicles.

The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Reporting directly to the COO and CEO, this position offers a unique career progression and the opportunity to make meaningful impact within the organization.


· Investment Operations

  • Trade orders: Interact with the Private Bankers or Prime Brokers for execution/ follow up of trade orders. Keep track of order status and provide timely updates to clients.
  • Portfolio Monitoring: Assist in monitoring and tracking weekly updates to client portfolios.
  • Investment Reporting: Prepare and generate investment reports for client portfolios.
  • Ad-hoc: Interact with clients to address any ad-hoc investment related inquiries or requests.

Operations

  • Liaise with various service providers to ensure timely completion of regulatory reporting and filings for client fund companies.
  • Coordinate with service providers and client family office team for effective and streamlined operations.
  • Ensure proper storage and safeguarding of data, records and important documents.
  • Remain updated on regulatory changes and industry developments relevant to fund management / family office.
  • Provide support for any concierge function for the client families, if required.
  • Document client meeting minutes and ensure the action points are addressed.
  • Assist in administrative tasks for the office as and when required.

Key Competencies and Requirements

  • Relevant investment and operations experience within banking, asset management or financial institutions.
  • Experience in working with regulators & auditors. Proficient in client onboarding, KYC/AML procedures, and client servicing/ relationship management.
  • Prior experience in trade settlement processes, including interacting with custodians & vendors.
  • Meticulous, with an eye for detail as well as excellent organizational skills
  • Able to work well in a team.
  • Proven ability to adapt, learn, and problem-solve in a dynamic environment.
