Responsibilities:
International Distribution Development:
- Identify and secure new distributors for our hair brand in overseas markets, cultivating key partnerships for sustained growth through various channels, including events, networking, and digital platforms.
- Develop and execute strategies for international channel growth, considering market trends and regulatory requirements.
Local Channel Expansion:
- Explore opportunities to expand local channels in Singapore, ensuring optimal product placement and visibility.
- Collaborate with local partners to enhance brand presence in the Singaporean market.
Overseas Distribution Channel Partnerships:
- Establish and nurture key partnerships with overseas distribution channels to drive international expansion.
- Work closely with overseas partners to ensure effective product distribution and market penetration.
OEM Partnerships:
- Identify potential OEM partners for hair and beauty products in both Singapore and overseas markets.
- Lead negotiations and collaboration efforts with OEM partners to enhance product offerings.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay abreast of regulatory requirements in various countries, ensuring compliance for both brand products and OEM partnerships.
- Collaborate with regulatory affairs to streamline processes and navigate compliance challenges.
Brand Representation and Presentations:
- Represent our hair brand during presentations to distributors, partners, and stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate the brand's value proposition and unique selling points.
Negotiation, Budgeting, and Costing:
- Negotiate agreements with distributors and OEM partners to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Develop budgets and costing strategies to align with revenue growth objectives.
Revenue Growth:
- Drive revenue growth through the expansion of distributor channels, both globally and locally.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue generation.
Brand Collaborations:
- Explore opportunities for brand collaborations that align with our business objectives.
- Foster collaborative relationships with other brands for mutual growth.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Marketing, Business or related field
- Minimum 5 years of solid experience in International and local business development, distributor management, OEM partnerships within the cosmetics or hair care industry
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of channel growth initiatives.
- Proven success in expanding market presence and revenue through channel growth.
- Strong organization, communication, interpersonal, analytical skills, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- You have a strong customer focus and good client management knowledge
- Self-motivated, detailed minded, result-oriented, entrepreneurial, passionate & determined to improve and learn
- Familiarity with global regulatory requirements for cosmetic products is added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only
