Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies for cost optimization and enhancing supply chain efficiency.
- Identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to ethical and sustainability standards.
- Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favourable pricing, payment terms, and mutually beneficial agreements.
- Reviewing and processing purchase orders, work orders, and subcontractor contracts and progress payment claims.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and align procurement activities with organizational goals.
- Managing supplier relationships, including ongoing performance evaluation, issue resolution, and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Evaluating and improving procurement practices, including identifying cost-saving opportunities and process enhancements.
- Stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to sourcing activities.
- Report to Senior Manager.
Requirements
- 4 to 6 years’ working experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a construction or engineering industry.
- Degree in supply chain management, business administration or related field or equivalent certification.
- Strong work ethic, and analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse data and provide insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Proficient in English.
