In this role, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain mobility, improve function, and achieve their highest level of independence through comprehensive physiotherapy care. You will work collaboratively with a team of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a diverse range of patients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify musculoskeletal, neurological, or cardiorespiratory conditions.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using a variety of manual therapy techniques, exercise programs, and modalities.
- Educate patients on their conditions, self-management strategies, and injury prevention techniques.
- Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain a high standard of patient care and professionalism in accordance with Singapore Physiotherapy Association (SPA) guidelines.
- Participate in continuing education to stay up-to-date on the latest physiotherapy practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
- Registration with the Singapore Physiotherapy Board.
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
