Job Summary

The incumbent is a subject matter expert with main responsibility of operational excellence in the area of inventory procurement and excess management for the business. The responsibility includes business processes standardization, operational KPI dashboard, ERP system and application optimization.


The ideal candidate is the key liaison and integration point of contact between APAC markets and intercompany suppliers.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop effective process and create best practice with planning in inventory procurement and excess management
  • Manage Japan inventory procurement to inbound receipt process management and execution.
  • Develop and integrate KPI tracking mechanism for APAC operations portfolio
  • Lead APAC monthly KPI review cadencel partnering with regional finance and in-markets operations lead.
  • Key contributor in achieving company's KPI for operations - gross inventory, excess and obsolescence, net inventory management
  • Develop PowerBI dashboard aiding inventory control and management review
  • Key back-up support to in-markets operations lead and APAC demand planning.

Expected Area of Competence (including education & experience requirements)

  • In-depth knowledge in demand planning process, understanding the full inventory procurement process from suppliers to in-markets
  • Keen learner on product portfolio, planning knowledge, sales history and business position
  • Result driven with high business ethics and values
  • Strong in analytical skills, excellent team player and project management skills
  • Proficient in ERP system (Oracle) PTP/OTC module, MS Excel, PowerPoint and Woord
  • Colleage or University degree in Supply Chain Management or related
  • Minimum 5 years' of demand planning or inventory management experience in medical device or similar industry
  • Excellent command of English with good presentation skills
