Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee daily production activities to ensure efficient operation
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Manage inventory levels to optimize production efficiency
- Train and supervise production staff to ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and quality assurance, to ensure smooth production operations
- Develop production plan and schedule to meet customers’ needs.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to optimize inventory control and production.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders the workflow of produts to ensure the execution of production plans and schedules.
- Highlight possible issues that might affect production output.
- Response to product non-conformance with the production and quality team to minimize interruption to production schedules.
- Liaises with Customer Service on urgent orders delivery.
- Schedule work shifts according to production needs.
- Monitors Work Orders progress and obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
- Identify opportunities and support implementation for continuous improvement activities.
- Adherence to all standards of quality and hygiene of product in accordance with FSSC22000 Food Safety System requirements.
- Comply with Workplace Safety and Health and Environmental Monitoring Systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in food science, food technology, or a related field
- Minimum of one year of experience in food production management
- Strong knowledge of food production processes and equipment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively.
- Self-motivated.
- Related experience in relevant industry or some chemistry background.
- Demonstrated commitment and understanding of food safety and quality principles.
