Responsibilities:
The candidate reports to the Planning & Contracts Manager and will assist the Manager in areas of quantity surveying, contract administration and project management for term contracts, cyclical and upgrading works within estates.
He/ She shall be tasked to carry out the following duties:
- Conduct site studies to determine the scope of work
- Source latest related pricing and best practices to ensure competitiveness
- Prepare, call for and evaluate tenders for term contracts, estate improvement, cyclical projects, upgrading works, etc.
- Liaise with contractor, consultants & government agencies on projects matters
- Liaise with other departments on agreements & compliance matters
- Supervise repairs & replacement, repainting, re-roofing, upgrading of facilities and other cyclical and estate improvement works
- Value works in progress and prepare variations and progress payments
- Engage residents and manage public feedback
- Maintain good housekeeping and record keeping for Procurement/Tender/Quotation matters
Requirements:
- Degree/ Diploma in Building/Construction, Property/Real Estate or related courses
- Have a positive working attitude, proactive and meticulous
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Preferably with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
