Our client is looking for a highly-driven and experienced Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and analysis. The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and supporting the finance team in various financial activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve financial performance.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and audits.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
