Responsibilities
- The standardised classification and grouping of healthcare data which reflects the complete clinical picture of the patients
- Contributes to hospital operational and subvention forecasts, but also allows clinicians to better plan the care of future patients with similar conditions.
- Responsible for translating patients’ medical diagnoses, operations and procedures into international classification alphanumeric codes
- Assist with the auditing of the medical records which involves checking on the accuracy of the codes assigned.
You are required to work closely with the clinicians to address coding issues.
Job Requirements :
- Diploma in Nursing / Life Science / Applied Science
- Meticulous with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
