We are seeking an experienced Sales Leader to lead the South East Asia (SEA) Inside Sales team. You will be required to lead recruit, coach and motivate the Inside Sales team. You will work with various key stakeholders to develop Sales Strategy to drive the SEA Insides Sales revenue.
You will have in-depth knowledge of and experience with the sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and closing deals. You are a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, and someone with a track record of success who can inspire the same in others. The role demands a leader with a sharp mind and the ability to coach, advise, motivate, or replace sales executive to create and maintain a high-performance sales force.
This will be a target driven role and it comes with remuneration package that includes base and commission plan.
Core responsibilities:
- Managed the selling process of full suite of PayPal products and exceed revenue goals based on rolled up of sales executive target
- Developed innovative approaches to capture whitespace in the SMB segment
- Continuously develop personal leadership, hiring, and training skills while ensuring the team is using effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives.
- Work with internal stakeholder to review and enhance existing sales process to help sales representatives shorten the sales cycle.
- Utilizes analytics tools and works to provide detailed analyses of sales performance for the purpose of formulating sales strategy that identify the successes, weaknesses, and opportunities to sales management.
- Working with internal stakeholders to create and execute a strategic sales plan sales strategy that identify high value prospects within Small Middle Business segment
- Understand the payment competitive landscape in the SEA to build a strong pipeline and lead generation.
- Builds strong relationships with the external partners and consumers and interacts with them to promote the PayPal brand and play an active role in the Payment industry for possible partnership collaboration.
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of B2B sales experience, successfully selling payment solutions
- Experience as a first line leader in a revenue generating environment
- Proven track record of success the sales cycle from plan to close
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop sales strategy and identify key prospects for pipeline building
- Pipeline management expertise, and experience with Salesforce
- Commercially savvy and ability to link up with local potential partnership to cultivate and drive commercially beneficial relationship with partners
- Growth mindset and constantly seek to look for sales opportunities in the SEA region
- eCommerce and payment industry experience required
- Role will be based in Singapore
- Ability to speak one other SEA language (Bahasa Indonesia, Vietnamese or Tagalog) will be advantageous
- Degree or equivalent relevant business experience
