We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Manager to join our team. The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the organization's IT infrastructure and ensuring the seamless operation of all technology systems. This position plays a crucial role in the ongoing success of Lions Befrienders by providing strategic direction, implementing new technologies, and managing IT projects to support our mission of serving seniors.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and security systems.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including troubleshooting, user support, and system maintenance in HQ and other site offices
- Review and negotiate hardware/software licensing and services for operations and cost effectiveness
- Lead IT projects from inception to completion in accordance with regulations, timely and budgets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify technology needs and propose solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry to recommend innovative solutions for Lions Befrienders.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and IT best practices to safeguard sensitive information and maintain system integrity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT management, preferably in a social service or nonprofit organization.
- Proven track record of successful project management and implementation of IT solutions.
- Strong technical skills in network administration, cybersecurity, risk management and cloud computing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- High degree of personal drive, self-starter and able to work independently.
