We are looking for an HR Manager, who will be responsible for the full HR spectrum of strategic HR functions in the company which includes strategic HR planning, talent acquisition & development, compensation & benefit, performance management, succession planning, employee engagement, staff well-being & other HR related matters.
What you will be working on:
- Lead an HR team and provide support and liaise with other department members on hiring plans, resignations, confirmation and all HR-related matters
- Assist the Managing Director execute their business plan from an HR perspective.
- Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
- Planning and implementation for effective use of human resources for carrying out construction projects.
- Provide advice and handle all employee inquiries on HR-related matters.
- Provide HR-related reports to the management not but limited to budget forecasting.
- Plan and implement HR strategies and policies to seek constant improvement in the HR Department for better towards the organization's goals as determined by the organization.
- Oversee and manage payroll-related matters, and expatriates’ related administrations.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high-performance.
- Administrative arrangement for training opportunities both internally & externally, and manage training records.
- Ensure timely & accurate submissions of all legal and regulatory applications and claims required by Singaporean laws, e.g. CPF, Childcare Leave, Maternity/Paternity Leave, NS makeup claims, income tax (IR8A & IR21) matters etc.
- Liaise with Government agencies on HR-related applications, claims, surveys and relevant funding.
- Undertake any ad-hoc projects assigned by the Managing Director from time to time.
What we're looking for:
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in human resource management or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of relevant HR management experience and at least a few years in leading an HR team.
- Working experience in local construction companies with more than 200 employees would be an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage all levels.
- Extensive knowledge of employment, labour laws and immigration laws in Singapore.
- Ability to take initiative and take ownership of any given project.
- Must be fluent in English and computer literate.
