Position Overview:
ANR, a prominent Total Lab Solutions Partner in materials science, is at the forefront of supporting the Research and Development sector. Our dedication lies in delivering cutting-edge products and services that elevate the efficiency and productivity of research laboratories. In line with our expansion strategy into the Chinese Market, we are seeking experienced individuals to join us as Business Development Specialists. This role will be stationed in Nanjing, China, for a minimum duration of 12 months.
Responsibilities:
Market Analysis and Strategy:
Conduct market research to identify potential customers, market trends, and competitive landscape. Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and positioning our total lab solutions accordingly. Collaborate with the sales support team to ensure seamless communication and customer satisfaction.
New Business Acquisition:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and strategic partnerships. Lead the negotiation and closure of contracts, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
Sales Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the sales support team to provide strategic input and support the overall sales process. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
Academic Qualifications and Work Experience:
A Bachelor or Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering, Chemistry Science and Engineering or relevant field may be preferred. Candidate with Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) will be a bonus.
Proven track record of at least 3 years in business development, sales, or related roles.
Demonstrated experience in conducting market research, analysing market trends, and developing strategic business plans.Strong background in client relationship management, with a focus on understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions.
Experience in negotiating and closing contracts, with a successful history of achieving sales targets and securing favorable terms.
Prior experience working in the Chinese market and familiarity with its business practices, culture, and regulatory environment would be highly advantageous.Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as sales support and marketing, to drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
Working Location: China, Nanjing
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00-18:00.
