The Java Technical Lead is responsible for devising and recommending technical solutions to address IT-related challenges. This role involves collaborating with developers to ensure the delivery of high-quality outputs, providing mentorship to junior staff, and proactively identifying issues that could impact product delivery.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead requirement analysis and oversee project architecture implementation.
- Develop customized, reusable solutions tailored to project, program, or operational requirements.
- Create detailed, high-quality designs.
- Perform unit testing using automated frameworks and proactively address potential risks.
- Configure own work or team contributions, assessing the technical implications of various technologies and strategies.
- Provide feedback on developers' work to drive continuous improvement.
- Uphold coding standards and best practices to ensure the delivery of quality outputs.
- Collaborate effectively as a team member on operational, integration, or application architecture requirements, design, implementation, and ongoing operations deliverables.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Computing/Information Technology or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years' development experience in Java.
- Proficiency in Spring/Spring Boot framework.
- Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle and MySQL.
- Hands-on experience in implementing SOAP and RESTful web services.
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks like Angular, Struts, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
- Experience in batch processing implementations.
- Previous involvement in developing custom frameworks, including security and validation frameworks.
- Prior experience in team leadership roles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced understanding of modern software development methodologies.
- Proficiency in software testing methodologies, scripting, and relevant tools.
- Minimum of three full SDLC experiences for web application projects.
