Project and Site Management
- Involved in project inception, development, implementation and completion, with respect to managing people, money and time
- Co-ordinate all projects comprehensively with all stake holders (internal and external) and be responsible for all work performance
- Controls project by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; pre-empt and trouble shoot site problems early, recommending actions, setup procedures.
- Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
- Liaise with site personnel on the project schedules and sequencing of work arrangements.
- Understand contracts, ensure compliance to and fulfillment of agreed contractual terms and conditions
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations on WSH.
- Conduct regular site assessments to inspect construction practices, horticultural practices and landscape quality requirements.
- Tracks progress and provides reports and prepare progress claims
- Versed with CAD drawing production SOP, format, processes and organisation.
- Prepare cost estimates and quotations for landscape projects, tenders and RFQ from contractors, QS, Clients
- Oversee nursery management, inventory management and procurement activities with Worker Supervisor, Design Team and Office Admin
- Co-ordinate with Management on Financial Forecasting and Financial Planning for the company and the projects
Bonus Skill: Design & Build Sales
- Meeting clients to understand client needs and crafting the design brief, learn client relationship management (pain points and delight).
- Cultivate sensibilities to user interface and experience of the landscape programme when preparing landscape proposal and sales pitch to win a Client.
- Once the design is finalized, prepare a Bill of Quantity for Client’s approval for landscape implementation.
- Work with operations department and other contractors to deliver the intended design, inclusive of on-site coordination and problem-solving.
