Pi Construction Pte. Limited. (PCPL) is a civil works contractor, headquartered in Hong Kong, that specializes in Repair & Renovation Works (especially of structural defects), and Structural Steel Works during construction and maintenance stage.
PCPL is part of a group of companies including GWP Engineering Pte. Ltd. (provides supply and fabrication of construction materials) and CEEK (a civil engineering design consultancy firm).
As a part of our growth ambition, we seek highly motivated individuals to join us as Project Manager.
Job Scope
1. Project Planning and Management:
Develop project plans, set objectives, create schedules, and allocate allowance resources. Coordinate and oversee the execution of construction projects, ensuring they are completed within budget on time and according to quality.
2. Budgeting and Cost Control:
Prepare budgets, estimates costs and monitoring expenses throughout the project lifecycle. Control cost by managing resources efficiently and making strategic decisions.
3. Stakeholder Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors/sub-contractors. Facilitate effective communication, address concerns, and ensure alignment among various parties involved.
4. Contract and Procurement Management:
Manage tendering process, negotiate contracts, and procure necessary materials, equipment, and services. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
5. Risk Management:
Identify potential risks, implements appropriate measures, and ensure safety regulations and standards.
6. Quality assurance:
Establish and enforce quality control procedures and standards. Monitor constructions activities, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with specifications and industry best practices.
7. Team Leadership & Coordination:
Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams, including civil and/or M&E engineers, supervisors, and technicians. Delegate tasks, provide guidance, and foster collaboration to achieve project objectives.
8. Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare progress reports, change orders, and other project-related documentation. Maintain accurate records, track project milestones, and documents any deviations or modifications.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Several years of relevant experience in construction project management/ coordinating preferably in civil or M&E projects.
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of construction principle, methodologies, and relevant codes and regulations.
Familiarity with civil or M&E systems, equipment, and technologies.
Good interpersonal skills to manage teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and resolve conflicts. Good communications skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in project management, tools, and software.
Experience with project planning, scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
Have excellent critical thinking skills.
