Job Description
- Responsible to set-up and operate the following machine.
- Able to perform simple programming (For CNC machines only)
- Conduct first piece inspection
- Report to management in the event of non-conformance of components
- Adhere to good quality, housekeeping and safety practices
- Perform 5S
Details
- Perform duties assigned by Production Manager
- Check Routing Sheet details against drawings are correct before machining
- Maintain good housekeeping in the areas of work
- Follow Company’s safe working practices and requirements at all times
- Meet Quality Management System requirements and Quality Objectives and achieve them
- Routing Sheet and required date of production
- Commencement of machines/equipment with Routing Sheet and drawings inspection to control the dimension according customer requirements for use
Job Requirements
- Comply with safety measures and practices of the Company
- Report any unsafe conditions and practices to Production Manager
- Ensure that a machining and inspection procedure is compiled to
- Ensure adherence and compliance of the Quality Management System
- Check raw material dimension before machining commencement
- Carry out the day-to-day machining operation in accordance with
- Perform 100% in-process inspection and recording inspection result
- Update production status in the Routing Sheet to VM system
- Identity any non-conformance product and inform the problem to
- Check and report raw material defects / non-conformance before
- Proper handling and usage of inspection devices and production
- Ensure job piece set-up and machining operation is in accordance
- Constant check on machining process and carry out in-process
- Maintenance and account for the inspection devices and tools issued
- NTC 2 or 3 in Precision Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Able to operate turning machines
- Able to read & interpret technical drawings
- Capable of using measuring instruments - Micrometer, Caliber, Bore
- Gauge, Profile Projector
- Working Hours : 7:30am to 5:15pm (Morning shift),
- 7:30pm to 5:15am (Night shift)
- Number of working day per week : 5 days
- Allowances (Transport, Shift, Meal) will be provided
Supplemental pay types:
- 13th month salary
- Overtime pay
