RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY
- Planning and participation in implementing project quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) activities to ensure project conformance to applicable requirements, specifications and standards across all project phases.
- Responsible for Communicating the project quality plan.
- Proactively working with the project team members to ensure that work procedures and instructions are clearly understood and implemented by respective project team members.
- Implementing the project quality audit plan and conducting / assisting the PQM with audits as per the plan.
- Assist the PQM in managing non-conformances, quality observations and any other findings and ensuring that corrective and preventive actions are identified and implemented.
- Work towards project handover and close-out.
- Be aware of QA/QC requirements for Mechanical, piping & civil structural as specified in the RFQs.
- Assist the PQM in bid document review and clarification for above mentioned discipline RFQs
- Assist he PQM in Quality assessment for vendors & supplier qualification approval for all disciplines
- Ensuring that project quality requirements and their implementation is clearly understood by suppliers.
- Reviewing supplier quality and manufacturing related documentation
- Conducting / assist the PQM in conducting supplier audits as and when required.
- Following the supplier inspection / surveillance plan, managing and conducting required inspections either by self or through appointed third party inspectors or assisting PQM
- Assist the PQM in managing non-conformances, quality observations and any other findings and ensuring that corrective and preventive actions are identified and implemented
- Welding and NDE support.
- Conduct incoming material quality inspection to ensure material delivered is of required quality prior to receiving in the warehouse.

- To assist the PQM in managing the entire Quality control function during project construction phases, turnarounds and shutdowns and perform / manage the quality inspections for construction works.
- Communicating the Construction Quality Plan covering the entire construction scope including relevant quality procedures and specifications
- Participating in contractor bid clarifications and ensuring that the quality requirements and procedures are clearly understood by construction contractors and checking that the necessary people and processes are in place during contractor evaluations
- Performing warehouse, shop and site inspections
- Assist the PQM in managing non-conformances, quality observations and any other findings and ensuring that corrective and preventive actions are identified and implemented.
- Conducting construction quality audits to ensure adherence to required procedures and standards.
- Work towards handing over the construction dosier.
- To engage with own counterparts in client’s organization
- To drive development of discipline processes and practices and effective knowledge sharing within own team

- Support the QA / QC needs of the Technical and Asset Integrity functions as required.
- To lead own professional development according to company requirements and keep all required quality certifications current.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- 10-15 years total experience in project quality management, 5 years as Supervisor in Chemical industry, Oil & gas and Petrochemical.
