To support in the performance of QA Engineering functions such as performing quality inspections, wafer processing and other activities that may be required.
- Work under supervision of QA Manager to meet and improve the response time.
- Perform QA inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures of incoming materials, parts and components used in the manufacture of products, partially assembled, or finished products.
- Accurately document the QA results of the inspections and testing done during incoming, outgoing, and in-process inspection
- Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor and other relevant people.
- Approves finished QA products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
- Documents QA inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database. Maintain all controlled document files and inspection records in a timely and in an accurate manner.
- Support QMS documentation and other QA activities as assigned.
- Systematically document procedure, monitor revisions and implement Quality Systems in the organization.
- Performs other tasks as may be required by immediate superior.
- Authorized to generate inspection report and pertinent documents.
- Authorized to reject products during inspection and issue nonconforming material report.
- Authorized to release QA documents with prior approval from the QA Manager.
Requirements
- A minimum 2 years of experience in QA wafer fabrication process with some experience in manufacturing/process development in Quality department, operations management in the field of photonics, semiconductors, telecommunications, company with similar or larger size and market capitalization.
- Experience in handling QA inspection tools such as microscopes.
- Experience in handling QMS documentation and Quality audits.
- Able to use standard microscope and other QA inspection tools.
- Possesses strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate cross-functionally with other teams.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology
- Computer skills (Microsoft office)
