Customer Care Specialist (West/1 Year Contract/Up to $3500)
Role summary:
We are looking for a Customer Care Specialist to process customer orders, provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about orders and products. To be successful in this role, you should be an excellent communicator, proficient in order entry software and knowledge of order entry processes. Relevant industry background is preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Order processing, including customer check, PO check, order entry & book in SAP, customer/item maintenance in system, RMA handling, etc.
- Coordinate with plant planners and logistic team to know the order status and have the customer well-informed.
- Follow up customer inquiries includes but not limited to lead time, price, order status, delivery tracking etc. Respond & resolve customer issues timely.
- Deal with customer complain, routing the issues to proper support individuals or teams.
- Be responsible for filing of all documents related to order processing, including PO, contract and any other supporting documents.
- Assist finance with collections/invoicing issues.
- Prepare reports required by management team and review backlog with customers.
- Other tasks assigned by the team leader.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 2 years Customer Service/Supply Chain/Trading experiences
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive thinker, fast learner, accurate, conscientious, energetic, continuous improver
- Proactive and clear thinker, open minded, excellent time-management with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
- Familiar with ERP system such as SAP or Oracle is an asset.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin in both written and spoken.
- Strong PC skills, proficient in MS-Office, especially in Excel.
