Oil company seeking for a Trade Settlement Analyst, Up $4.5K
Duration: 9 Months Contract
Location: Near to Promenade MRT
The Settlement Analyst will be responsible for managing invoicing and settlements of physical trading activities related to the trading desk.
Responsibilities:
- Trade validation in CTRM
- Reconciling of trades across systems
- Tracking of invoices, settlements, Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable reporting and be involved in systems testing.
- Handling physical Oil/LNG/Shipping trade settlements in a timely and accurate manner, including contract terms review, due date control and raising payment and invoices in both CTRM system and SAP
- Reviewing the trade contracts and service agreements for settlement purposes
- Price confirmation with counterparties and billing or invoicing of sales both provisional and final invoices
- Ensuring incoming and outgoing funds receipt or payment are valued on time, calculating interest for delayed receipts as per contractual terms and Accounts Receivable ageing follow-up
- Process secondary costs which includes additional cost such as freight, insurance, inspections, demurrage's
- Liaise with traders and operators to resolve disputes and ensure accurate and timely payments
- Carrying out with the procedure/process implemented in CTRM, SAP and other network system and assist in month-end reconciliations of physical, trading activities related to the trading desk.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of two years’ experience in energy risk assessment and analysis
- Previous use of CTRM
- Excellent use of Microsoft Excel/Microsoft Word/PowerPoint
- Understanding of various commodity types and their settlement procedures
- Ability to act as a team member
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
