Job Description:
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about gymnastics, ballet, and working with children to join our team of instructors and coaches. As the Ballet Instructor / Dance Instructor at Relevé, you will have the opportunity to inspire and empower students of all ages while taking a leading role in building our dance program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct ballet & dance lessons for children aged 4 and above – both as standalone classes and integrated segments within our elite gymnastics’ curriculum.
- Teach and demonstrate proper ballet techniques, fostering a love for movement and dance.
- Plan the dance program for each calendar year, designing and delivering new dance curriculum and schedule that aligns with the school's goals and objectives.
- Prepare students for performances, competitions, and examinations, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and confidence to succeed.
- Establish relationships with students and parents, providing a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
- Plan and organize in-house events and performances to showcase student achievements and promote the school.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a gymnast, ballet dancer, or instructor is preferred.
- Diploma in Dance or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Strong passion for working with children and helping them develop both physically and artistically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with students and parents effectively.
- Self-motivated, dynamic, and energetic individual who is willing to learn and grow within the role.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on the school's schedule.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with initiative to develop and propose new class segments and learning opportunities for our students.
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
Working Hours:
- Full Time: Between 30 and 40 hours a week, including nights and weekends.
- Part Time: Availability dependent, minimum 20 hours per week
