Job Responsibilities
- Report to the Engineering / SHEQ Manager of Coim Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, for all project, operational and maintenance matters.
- Execute CAPEX or improvement projects, especially in the fields of project management including preparing scope of works, procurement, construction, installation, start-up and commissioning.
- Ensure proper communication, procedure and workflow to all project stake holders.
- Maintain and update engineering documentation including maintenance procedures & work records, inspection reports, AutoCAD drawings etc.
- Liaise and coordinate with external service providers to ensure the safety, quality and value of work performed within the site.
- Provide specialist support to Maintenance engineer in relation to plant & facility maintenance activities safely, efficiently and effectively such as:
- Establishing maintenance programs and strategies related to E&I equipment for process plant and utilities.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems to minimize equipment downtime.
- Provide practical and cost-effective solutions to all E&I related issues or problems.
- Inventory Spares
- Upkeep of ISO 9001, 14001, 18001 and SS 651:2019 standard requirements.
- Continually source for reliable and competitive equipment suppliers and project contractors.
- Monitor plant equipment performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Network with counterpart in sister sites on equipment history/ troubleshooting techniques and proven best practices.
- Develop and implement Electrical Safety best practices and ensure 100% compliance to relevant regulations.
- Actively participate and contribute in safety studies such as HAZOP, EHA, Area Classification, facility siting etc. and implement recommendations arising out.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 5 to 10 years relevant working experiences in petrochemical, chemical or pharmaceutical industries.
- Possess good technical knowledge in Electrical and Instrumentation including PLCs.
- Competent in planning and scheduling plant maintenance and engineering project activities.
- Multitasking and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work effectively with inter- and cross-functional teams.
- Good team player and willing to collaborate with different departments to achieve common goals
- SCEM certification would be an added advantage.
- Highly ethical and able to align towards the organization’s goals.
