Key Responsibilities:
- Coverage of products including variance swaps, warrants, equity linked structured notes, equity options, CDS, IRS, FX, FX options, asset swap, currencies swap, NDF, etc.
- Liaise with clients on trade settlement issues including pre-settlement confirmations and exchanging of SSI
- Resolve trade discrepancies with trade control, clients and front office
- Ensure accurate, timely and complete daily settlement of trades
- Resolve settlement breaks
- Drive process improvement initiatives with internal stakeholders within/across regions
- Participate in internal controls, audit and regulatory related tasks/projects
- Review month-end balance sheet accounts
To succeed in this role, the candidate would require to be well-organised with minimal supervision. The successful candidate would also require strong analytical skills. Relevant experience understanding of the front to back trade lifecycle processes is also necessary.
Key Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft office Excel, Word and outlook is advantageous
- Ability to be a team player and possess strong organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to intra-day deadlines, flexible/late hours may be required dependent on trading volumes and complexity of the day's trades
