Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed credit & rating review with analysis for new & existing loan portfolios (both local & overseas)
- Detailed loan synopsis to make recommendations for loan acceptance/ rejection
- Perform loan portfolio analysis, industry analysis & market comparison studies
- Work closely with major stakeholders to ensure that day to day risk management issues are handled & addressed appropriately
- Mentor & guide junior credit analysts
- Lead the Credit Department to ensure timely execution of loan contracts, accurate update of contract information into the system,
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering/ Business/ Finance/ Accountancy with at least 8-10 years relevant experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity in credit risk analysis
- Business-minded, able to balance between risk & commercial requirements
- Has a personal interest in financial markets & analysis; able to digest financial statements to form an informed analysis of an entity’s financial health
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin
- Proficient in reading and comprehension of English and Mandarin business documents
