Job Responsibilities
- Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share
- Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans
- Determines annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new services/ products; analyzing trends and results; establishing pricing strategies; recommending selling prices; monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand
- Business development for land-based logistics business for Technical, Project Cargo & Storage Services
- To prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients, this role has to aggressively source and secure new accounts/business
- To work with the internal team and other managers to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for our organization
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
Requirement
- Minimum 3-5 years working experience in Logistics Industries
- Strong freight forwarding knowledge
- Ability to work under strenuous working environment
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- An independent individual and a team player
- Proactive and willingness to accept responsibilities positively
- Meticulous and detailed towards given tasks from HOD
- Team players and excellent interpersonal skill
- Ability to promote and present ideas proficiently
- Strong initiatives for cost improvement – vendor services, turnaround time, fulfilment, trade lanes optimization etc
