Responsibilities:
- Facilitate communication between Singapore and Japan offices, participating in meetings and projects.
- Support counterparts by understanding their needs, participating in meetings, and conveying details accurately.
- Provide language support through Japanese-English and English-Japanese interpretation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the Singapore office.
- Translate and simplify documents from Japanese to English and vice versa.
- Monitor deadlines and assist in project delivery, business development, and management reporting.
- Coordinate meetings, handle documents, create meeting minutes, engage in HQ meetings, and develop/maintain SOPs and rules.
Requirements
- Non-experienced candidates are welcomed to apply
- Possess business proficiency level in both English and Japanese language (at least JLPT N2) to liaise with Japanese speaking counterparts on a daily basis
- Proficient in Ms Office suites specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- Possess the confidence/experience in handling the translation/interpretation from English to Japanes and vice versa
