I'm currently partnering with a financial services firm who is looking to add finance business partners (across multiple levels) to their new business division. As a member of this team, you will play a vital role in shaping the performance strategies and actuarial functions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement performance management frameworks, conduct actuarial analysis, and provide strategic insights to drive business growth and profitability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement performance management frameworks to measure and monitor divisional performance.
  • Conduct actuarial analysis to assess risks, pricing strategies, and financial projections.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and finance teams to analyze product performance and profitability.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on actuarial analysis and performance metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance management processes and actuarial models.
  • Support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities for the division.
  • Communicate key findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, or related field; Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., FSA, CFA) preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in performance management, actuarial science, or related fields, with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in actuarial modeling, statistical analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experience in the financial services or insurance industry is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
