New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer on Semiconductors
Salary: Basic $3,800 - $4,200 + VB
Time: Monday - Friday (8am to 5.30pm)
Location: Eunos Techpark
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for piloting new product set-up and launch which includes, but not limited to, RFQ, outlining product structure and part number creation.
- Raise, oversee and maintain all engineering related documents (e.g. BOM, ECN, MDR, etc.).
- Disseminates relevant manufacturing and engineering documents and/or information to the relevant stakeholders.
- Attend to any ECN/MDR changes.
- Support customer and production team on technical issues.
- Ensures products are correctly and promptly developed without compromising on product quality.
- Monitor manufacturing progress.
- Liaise with subcontractors to ensure products are manufactured according to specifications.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Electronics Engineering.
- At least 3 years of working experience in a semiconductor industry with strong knowledge in BOM structure, product BOM release, ECN and MDR changes.
- Possess knowledge of ISO9001.
- Possess knowledge of UL508A, Semi F47 and Semi S2 would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge on ERP system would be an added advantage.
- Resourceful and able to work independently.
- Good at problem solving, negotiating and communicating.
- Team player.
