Iwatani Corporation (singapore) Pte. Ltd.

1) Iwatani Group is a leading gas and energy company headquartered in Japan with energy businesses centered on industrial gas and machinery, materials, integrated energy, and natural industrial energy.

We are now looking for an experienced Manager in Singapore with strong sales skills backed by proven technical knowledge and experience in gas industry.


2)Manage and lead all operational aspect of sales activities of industrial gases of our key clients, who are mainly Japanese companies in Singapore and India.

Budget planning and analysis, as well as profit and loss management for some projects will also be the domain of responsibilities of this position.


3) Responsible for the sale of the gas, as well as the expansion and replacement of gas supply facilities already installed in the client's factories.
Manage engineers to provide high quality consultation and proposals based on a through understanding of the client's needs. This position is expected to possess both proven experience in sales and a high level of technical expertise, as this position face clients and lead technical discussions with them.

4) Drive close day-to-day communication with clients, identifying their group-wide requirements and reporting directly to our management and to our HQ in Japan to contribute to the group's overall revenue.


5) Responsible for sales and new business development of the Iwatani Group's focus business, Helium Gas and Other Industrial gases for manufacturers.


6) Lead all processes from customer proposals and negotiation, procurement, product, quality control, delivery, bill collecting and follow-up based on up-to-date and exceptional working knowledge of speciality gases for manufacturers. Due to the product nature of manufacturer gases, this position requires a high level of product knowledge and quality control.


[Job Requirements]

1) At least 7 years' experience of working in the gas industry as sales / business development dealing with corporate clients.

2) At least 3 years' of sales experience of Helium Gas and Other Industrial Gases for manufacturers within the last 5 years.

3) At least 3 years' of sales experience handling and proposing establishment / replacement of gas supply facilities for manufacturers.

Successful candidate is expected to possess technical knowledge in industrial gas and various types of supply facilities in order to manage engineers and lead technical discussions.

4) Experience in direct customer proposals and negotiation, procurement, product, quality control, delivery and bill collecting in the industrial gases.

5) Knowledge of the latest regulations concerning carbon neutrality and the general environment at a global level, especially in Japan.

6) Business level English, and JPLT N1 or equivalent level of Japanese language skills in order to make high level proposals, negotiations and presentations to Senior Managements of both local and Japanese clients of the company.

7) Working knowledge of Japanese accounting standards.
