Working hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours
Responsibilities:
- Manage full spectrum of accounts and reporting function
- Statutory reporting - liaise with auditors and government bodies
- Provide reliable, accurate and timely financial information to the Management
- Preparing, analyzing and interpreting financial and management reports
- Manage the full spectrum of corporate tax, working with our tax advisor on timely and accurate submissions and leveraging on applicable tax incentives.
- Ensure full compliance with accepted accounting principles, accounting policies and procedures, balance sheet reviews and internal controls processes
- Formulating accounting policies and strategies, financial and management accounting, costing, taxation and all finance-related matters
- Reconcile intercompany accounts balances with subsidiaries and parent company
- Responsible for monthly account reconciliations
- Analyze working capital trends, optimize working capital days and maximize cashflow generation.
- Evaluate the FX requirements, manage FX risks with appropriate FX hedging.
- Liaise with Auditors, manage the interim and final audits within tight deadlines.
- Implement continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency
- Safeguard assets and mitigate risks with appropriate insurance cover from Group and local insurers.
- Quarterly assessment of the risks and controls, liaising with Internal Audit.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Degree / ACCA or CPA in Accountancy
- Ability to handle full sets of accounts
- Well-versed with IFRS requirements and with the various tax legislations (GST, corporate tax, transfer pricing)
- Bonus if possess experience in Navision system
- Bonus but not required: possess 3 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
