Responsibilities:
- Engage with IT suppliers for the upkeep and monitoring of software licences and hardware maintenance.
- Work closely with vendors to negotiate and procure office technology equipment and software as needed.
- Oversee IT security measures, including the installation and management of antivirus software across all desktops, laptops, and other IT devices, as well as conducting weekly data backups for servers.
- Set up Local Area Networks (LAN) and assign IP addresses as required.
- Offer Helpdesk support to all users, ensuring their IT issues are resolved promptly.
- Prepare and configure new PCs and laptops, including tasks such as creating email accounts and setting up mailboxes.
- Facilitate the installation of CCTV systems within office premises and for end-users.
- Possess a robust understanding of the latest operating systems and network protocols.
- Undertake various other IT-related tasks, such as updating the company website.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of software and hardware, ensuring proper documentation is kept.
- Carry out any additional duties that may arise on an ad-hoc basis.
Requirements:
- At least Diploma/Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Able to start immediately/within 2 weeks.
- Possessing CompTIA, A+, MCTS is at an advantage.
- Good Analytical Skills, Fast Learner, Shows Initiative, Honest and responsible
- Able to work 5.5 days workweek (Saturday half day), compensated with performance bonous
