JOB DUTIES:
- Responsible for all phases of UI/UX work for software and games products from conceptualization, prototyping, detailed design, usability testing and implementation.
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and software engineers.
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
- Develop wireframes, mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate the appearance, functions and features of games, software and applications.
- Create visually appealing, user-friendly, consistent, and crisp user interface elements (e.g. navigation menus, search boxes, buttons, tabs, widgets, icons and animation etc) for software products.
- Contribute to define the overall art style and artistic direction that caters to the clients’ needs, and technical documentations.
- Working closely with Creative team members and cross-functional teams including Product Team, Tech Development Team and Mobile Development Team.
- Validate design with data and playtests, gather feedback from software testers and users to improve the usability of software and games products.
- Troubleshot and find solutions to solve UI/UX problems (e.g. usability, findability, responsiveness).
- Refine and adjust UIUX layout based on user feedback.
- Present key UI/UX design ideas and concepts clearly and persuasively to various stakeholders for group's evaluation and consideration.
- Conduct user research to keep up-to-date on the latest trends and influences in UI/UX, and sharing the findings with the team.
- Any other tasks as assigned by the superior and Company.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma or Degree in Design related field (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial, HCI) with familiarity in UI/UX design.
- 2-5 years of UI/UX design work experience in fast-paced IT industry. Experience in designing gaming UI/UX is a plus.
- Proven experience of end-to-end UX/UI design process spanning user research, wireframing, high-fidelity mock-ups, prototyping, testing and iterations.
- Good understanding of UI/UX principles, processes, flows and functional designs.
- Well-rounded sense of UI/UX design and a good grasp in colours, composition, and layout.
- Familiar with design and prototype tools such as like Sketch, Figma, Axure, Zeplin, Flinto, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop and Illustrator etc.
- Good multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Possess a great sense of team spirit and willing to go the extra mile to accomplish goals as a team.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively articulate and understand design intentions.
- Experience in Illustration / Animation is a plus.
