Scope of Work :
- Develop and implement safety measures and policies in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act.
- Regularly review and update safety protocols to ensure they are in line with current regulations and best practices.
- Lead the Environmental Control Committee Meetings to discuss and implement environmental control programs.
- Oversee the development and implementation of environmental policies and procedures to ensure they meet legislative requirements and best practices.
- Ensure that all operations and activities at the site are compliant with relevant and latest Workplace Safety, Health, and Environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues.
- Prepare and review Risk Assessments in collaboration with the project management team to identify potential hazards and implement mitigation strategies.
- Develop and implement an Environmental Control Plan, outlining strategies and practices to minimize environmental impact from operations.
Job Requirements:
- Hold a Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) and/or a Bachelor's Degree in a WSH-related field, along with a certification as an Environmental Control Officer (ECO).
- Minimum of three years of relevant professional experience suitable for the responsibilities of a WSH Officer cum ECO.
