Key Responsibilities / Duties:
- Responsible for FOOD AND NON-FOOD purchase
- Planning inventory levels based on past records, demand and supply for replenishment of stocks.
- Involve in negotiations, evaluating quotations and preparing Purchase Requisition & PO.
- Review stock inventory to ensure sufficient stock level is maintained
- Ensure proper documentation of materials’ contract pricing in company database
- Coordinate and monitor logistic operation, declaration permit.
- Manage forwarding agents, shipping lines, haulage and trucking.
- Negotiation with shipping line, forwarder on freight rate.
- Co-ordinate with internal departments/vendors/logistic to track deliveries and verify on quantity & quality of received items.
- Perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by the management from time to time.
Candidate Requirements:
- Knowledge of regulations and ISO requirements in shipping.
- Minimum 5 year working experience in purchasing role
- Degree or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
