KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for managing scope and timeline of projects
- Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand‐ups
- Act as the point of contact for external communications (e.g. vendors or stakeholders)
- Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
- Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
- Help teams implement changes effectively
- Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
- Provide guidance to team members in Agile frameworks
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Familiarity with software development
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
- Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks (Crystal, XP etc.)
- Strong experience in managing business, IT and senior stakeholders;
- Ability to solve complex problems and resolve conflicts;
- Sound understanding of the technical aspects of Systems integration in an environment with diverse technologies;
- Self‐driven, creative and team‐oriented person with good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Strong organizational and leadership skills and ability to influence to gain consensus from multiple stakeholders when required;
- Working experience in using project management software to track, monitor, and reporting of project progress and producing reports;
- Proven record in managing external contractors and monitoring and reporting progress;
- Preferably more than 3 years of relevant experience as a Scrum Master;
- Scrum master certification will be an added advantage.
