Responsibilities:
- Implement quality control activities based on established policies and procedures.
- Inspect and test products throughout production stages to maintain quality standards and approve them within agreed timelines.
- Conduct sensory evaluations, including sniffing and tasting, to ensure incoming materials meet customer requirements.
- Perform analytical tests using various instruments such as Densitometer, Refractometer, GC, GC-MS, Karl Fischer, etc.
- Enter data into SAP system and maintain instrument calibration as per routine.
- Develop and maintain SOPs for QC testing in compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
- Investigate and analyze root causes of OOS (Out of Specification) and non-conformities.
- Maintain a clean and organized QC lab environment following 6S principles.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in the lab or plant and support implementation.
- Perform other tasks assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
Requirements:
- Degree in Chemistry, Food Science or Chemical related courses.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in QC operation, preferably in similar industry
- Good knowledge of GMP manufacturing processes
