Role:
- Main responsibility to organize and lead on cost initiative via Value Analysis Value Engineering (VAVE) or Design to Cost (DTC), to ensure cost saving realize on time and well tracked
- Source team is responsible for the products on entry and exit (end-of-life)
- Representing the organization to compile and provide reporting
Job Responsibilities:
- Reporting to Manager / Senior Manager, to work on assigned VAVE or DTC project effectively
- Organize, conduct Value Analysis and Value Engineering, to ensure design / cost effectiveness
- Organize VAVE / DTC workshop, drive and induce the Commodity Managers / Procurement Engineering team to generate cost effective initiative
- Be creative and think out of box to challenge current process / design, provide constructive and objective idea with cost and efficiency improvement
- Review and collaborate with R&D / PSG lead to align the initiative approach
- Compile and prepare the Business case sharing to Steering Committee and submit to management decision for decision
- Responsible to ensure communications and system preparation for initiative implementation on impacted materials, planning and implementing measures to avoid / reduce material waste and additional costs, working with PSG Lead, Commodity Managers, Operative Purchaser, Production Planner and Supplier Quality.
- Escalations of any deviations to phase in / phase out strategy causing material availability or business risk
- Conduct regular meeting with stake holder to update and monitor progress
- Maintain VAVE / DTC information to ensure the project status is closely follow up
- Carry out assigned task by the Senior Manager

Requirements:
- Minimum Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of commodity / project management with supply chain and engineering related experience
- Proficient in English
