Job Description:
- Administers, communicates and co-ordinates delivery and shipment related activities between sales department, warehouse and freight forwarding companies.
- Plan and coordinate shipment schedules based on Sales Order (SO) from sales department.
- Assist in documentation and shipping arrangement, both inwards and outwards.
- Prepares and checks all shipping documents to ensure that they are complete and comply with import and export rules and regulations.
- Cross check weekly/ monthly inventory report from freight forwarder.
- Responsible for the efficient, timely and accurate preparation of shipping documents and ensure accurate declaration of permits.
- Coordinates with freight forwarders, transporters, and warehouse on vessel booking, container trucking and stuffing arrangements.
- Ensures timely notification and dispatch of shipping documents to customers.
- Participate in improving current logistics procedure based on ISO standard.
- Verify vendor invoice and apply payment request thru SAP system before submitting to finance for payment arrangement.
- Prepare month end stock inventory report.
- Involve in internal audit.
- Maintain logistics documents, files and records in compliance with Company’s policies. Ensure consistent practice and compliance to customers’ requests and specification.
Job Requirements
- Diploma and above with 1~3 years’ experience in logistics
- Training will be provided.
Other Information
- 5 days' work week from 8am- 5pm at TUAS PLANT
- Salary ranging from $2,000 - $3,000
