Responsibilities
- Prepare, edit, and format legal documents and correspondence with attention to detail.
- Assist in the organization and management of electronic litigation files and documentation.
- Utilize e-litigation platforms to file and manage legal documents efficiently.
- Support legal staff in the preparation for, and follow-up on, court proceedings.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical files to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court dates, coordinating with all relevant parties.
- Conduct legal research as directed and compile data from various sources.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, lawyers, and outside vendors to schedule interviews, meetings, and maintain professional interactions.
- Process and track legal documents to ensure timely compliance with court deadlines.
- Assist in the preparation of probate applications and the management of letters of administration, if applicable.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent
- At least 1 – 2 years of relevant experience in a law firm environment
- Experience in probate and letters of administration processes
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in legal document preparation and word processing.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work.
