Responsibilities

  • Conduct investigation, negotiation and settlement of Motor / Travel claims and recoveries, ensuring that these are carried out equitably and expeditiously
  • Maintain proper records to enable the identification of claim trends and inform underwriters immediately of any adverse trends or issues
  • Conduct recovery action against Reinsurers and Third Parties
  • Monitor the provisions for outstanding claims
  • Assist in the general training of staff
  • Review outgoing mail of assigned classes of claims to ensure accuracy
  • Assist in the supervision of work in the Division to ensure that work is processed correctly and expeditiously
  • Assist in checking of data entry in relation to GST with respect to claim payment
  • Yearly review of claim files

Requirements

  • Diploma in any discipline
  • BCP, PGI & HI Certified
  • At least 3 years of relevant claims experience
  • Meticulous and organized
  • Team player
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
