THE ROLE


About the role


We have an exciting Business Development Manager position available in our expanding Prestige Business (Distributor Market) division. Working in diverse environment, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with regional distributors to drive our key Prestige Beauty portfolio in India and Indonesia markets.


RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role as a Business Development Manager, you will work:

  • Achieve business & sales objective through effective management of regional distributors and development of strategic and annual strategy and roadmaps.
  • Work closely with internal & external stakeholders to gather insights, analyse and identify business opportunities
  • Drive JBP discussion, portfolio optimisation and pricing strategies for the different markets
  • Establish & meet regional sales financial objectives through effective account planning, rigorous forecasting, budget monitoring & delivery of GTM projects (New NDP launches, Marketing Campaigns, Retail projects etc.)
  • Build collaborative relationships with distributor partners and support in white space expansion in untapped markets, consumer segments, brand development.
  • Manage pricing, sales & ordering and registration process with Demand Planning, Customer Service Team, Legal and CMI team, resolve issues and act as a liaison between distributor partners and internal team
  • Ensure timely submission of sales report, market intelligence, local marketing plans, marketing spend, etc.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or similar,
  • Commercial acumen, ideally coming from a FMCG, Beauty and/ or Luxury background
  • Strong MS excel, Word and power points skills
  • Experience of 5 years or more in a similar commercial role managing different accounts, distributors and/or brands
  • Knowledge & exposure to the region – SEA, APAC (good to have)
  • Positive, can do ‘hands on’ mentality
  • Be persuasive and can drive growth conversations
  • Ability to work in fast-pace environment
