Job title: Operations Manager
Job scope:
- Supervise and oversee daily operational activities.
- Lead a diverse team of 80 drivers, encompassing various nationalities.
- Contribute to scaling the team to 150 drivers in accordance with the company's expanding operations.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Assistant Operations Managers and oversee three shift foremen.
- Formulate and execute strategies to enhance fleet utilization, reduce downtime, and optimize operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to address operational challenges, mediate conflicts, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to all pertinent regulations and safety protocols within the transportation sector.
- Partner with the Human Resources department to recruit, train, and retain skilled drivers and operational personnel.
- Cultivate a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continual improvement within the operational framework.
- Manage budgetary responsibilities, including expense control, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
