RESPONSIBILITIES

About the Job

Support staff in caring for the residents under their charge according to the training received under Industry Skill Certificate, Institute of Technical Education or similar approved courses.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support and assistance to nursing staff in the delivery of resident care services.
• Closely observe residents through frequent sounds and monitor residents' vital signs and report any abnormality to staff in-charge.
• Perform basic nursing duties such as, nasogastric feeding, bathing and toileting, wound dressing blood glucose monitoring, vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse and temperature.
• Feed, bathe and assist residents who have problems with mobility or are bedridden. Ensure safe transfer to and from bed and wheelchair.
• Assist and supervise the personal hygiene, oral toilet, bathing and grooming, eg. trim nails, changing diapers, etc.

Diploma in Nursing

Preferred Candidate Attributes

Minimum 1 year of working experience in Nursing Home.

Working Hours

The total work hours of 44 hours, working 6 days per week, on shift.
