Our client is a one of the leading players in the FMCG industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Security and Safety Officer to be part of their Safety team to support their business needs. They are located in the West - easily accessible.
Job Description Security and Safety Officer:
- Maintain a secure and clean facility environment, adhering to safety regulations and housekeeping standards.
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance for security and fire protection equipment.
- Supervise and conduct training for staff and vendors on security, housekeeping, and fire safety procedures.
- Identify and address instances of workplace safety and health (WSH) non-compliance and unsafe practices.
- Alert team members to emergency situations and potential hazards.
- Support WSH programs and initiatives, collect data on WSH performance, and conduct routine checks on work activities.
- Participate in investigations of incidents and accidents, report findings, and implement actions to improve WSH performance and control risks.
Requirements:
- Diploma in relevant study with 1 to 2 years of HSE experience in Warehouse/ Distribution Centre/ Manufacturing
- Comfortable to travel among distribution centres
