Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and establish the hotel brand identity.
- Assist the Marketing Manager to develop and execute strategic marketing plans to promote the hotel's pre-opening phase.
- Manage the hotel's digital marketing initiatives, including website development, search engine optimization (SEO), content creation, social media engagement, and online advertising.
- Collaborate with local businesses and organizations to reach the target audience effectively.
- Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to generate positive media coverage. Draft press releases, organize press events, and coordinate media visits to showcase the hotel's unique offerings and generate media exposure.
- Create and oversee the production of marketing collaterals, including brochures, presentations, promotional materials, and other branded items.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in marketing and communications, preferably within the hospitality industry or pre-opening environments.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, branding, and digital marketing strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and engage diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and web analytics.
- Ability to think creatively, identify target market segments, and develop innovative marketing campaigns.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining brand standards.
- Proficiency in design and video taking with strong project management and organisational skills.
- Familiarity with hotel reservation systems and customer relationship management (CRM) tools is a plus.
